Frost/Nixon, Milk, The Reader and Slumdog Millionaire round out the Best Picture nominations.  Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire was nominated in 9 categories. Heath Ledger (Best Supporting Actor) secured the only major, non-technical Oscar nomination for The Dark Knight while Michael Shannon received the single major nom for Revolutionary Road.
