1. The Trials of Ted Haggard, Alexandra Pelosi’s newest documentary, debuts this Thursday, January 28th, on HBO. Pelosi, known equally for being the daughter of the Speaker of the House AND her documentary Journeys With George, was profiled in this Sunday’s New York Times. Trials is a follow up to her 2007 doc Friend of God that explored American evangelism and served as her first introduction to “Pastor Ted”. Go here for the trailer.
